This weeks woman backing her beauty is the wonderful Mia. At a glance you would say she has it all.. a kick ass jewellery business, an awesome family and just a cool ass vibe. But why Mia is so endearing is because she’s just so bloody real and in between all those insane feats lays a woman who is as normal and as real as you and me.

She’s awkward as hell, doesn’t feel comfy being the centre of attention and just likes to do her own thing. And there’s so much to relate to that. Its relatability that draws us in these days and as Mia talks about in her interview below she knows just how much pressure women are under in a world of social media and comparison.

There’s something so refreshing knowing that you don’t have to compromise yourself as a person to create an amazing life and have wonderful successes. Its in your own habits, weirdness and quirks that your true values lie and its in those values that your true success begins.

Too often do we see women trying to be these cool cats who try to be like all the others. If only we know that its when we stop trying to be like everyone else that what we sought all along was right there in us.

What makes you feel beautiful? (doesn’t have to be makeup!)

Probably my little girl Violet. She is such a sweet thing and watching something you have created grow, is pretty bloody beautiful!

How do you back your own beauty? Eg. Exercise, water, meditation, works on self confidence…

I like to exercise, I drink lots of water and I genuinely love vegetables! I try and keep a positive mindset too which I think helps.

What’s one product in your makeup bag you cant live without?

Ahh probably mascara. I have dopey straight eyelashes and so without mascara and a curler I look pretty drowsey!

Why do use makeup?

To look and feel fresher for the day/night.

If you have one piece advice to other women on how they can back their beauty what would it be?

Probably to focus on yourself and not worry too much about what other people are doing or eating or wearing! I think this is when peoples (especially womens) self confidence can be shaken in when you don’t feel as cool as a stranger on Instagram with 30k followers! Surround yourself with good people and you’ll always feel good!
